Gordon Conolly founded Dalcross in September 2000. Prior to his consulting career,
Gordon's senior Human Resource line management roles were with significant corporations:
CSR Ltd (1966-1981).AGC (1982-1985),Chase AMP(1985-1991)and Chase Manhattan Bank
Gordon has a Bachelor of Economics from Sydney University and is a member of AICD, AHRI,
AIM and Industrial Relations Society. He has significant corporate governance experience
having served on the Board of CMBAL (Chase Manhattan Bank Australia Ltd) from 1993 until
2000, and Chairman of Surila Ltd (1992-2000). In 2009-10 he was retained as Chairman of
the Advisory Board of ISI Pty Ltd.
Gordon is also the founding Director of Quadrant Management Solutions an executive search
firm whose clients include Bank of America, Credit Agricole CIB, Bankwest, CBA,
GE Commercial Finance , HBOS, RBS, JPMorgan, HSBC, Leica Microsystems ,West LB AG and a
cross section of CBD professional firms such as Borough Mazars and HLB Mann Judd chartered accountants.
The essence of Gordon's approach to business is to provide a "personal touch and excellent
consulting advice" but always with a view to helping create effective work communities,
featured by positive culture and collaboration. This is what he is about.
Notable achievements whilst he was Director of Human Resources and Public Relations at
- Helping take Chase Manhattan Australia from zero profitability to 62% ROE and USD 120
million during the 1990's.
- Building successful corporate talent retention (2% senior turnover over 15 years)
through culture development, wise selection process organization and job design.
- Successful mergers with Chemical Bank 1996 and Ord Minnett 2000 .
